One appears on every product — on the card, the page and in the cart. Never hand-typed; always read from the product's verified record.

 All or virtually all of the product — ingredients and labour — originates here. The rarest of the three.

Made in Canada

 The last substantial transformation happened in Canada. Some inputs may be imported, and we say so.

Canadian Company

 Canadian-owned and headquartered, but manufacturing may happen abroad. Still Canadian money — still worth knowing the difference.

Questions we get

What about a Canadian company that manufactures in Portugal?

It can be listed as a Canadian Company, and the badge says exactly that. We never let it wear Made in Canada.
Do you list resellers?

No. If a brand didn't make or design the product, it doesn't belong here.
How do you verify?

Corporate registry search, a look at where orders physically ship from, and a conversation with the founder. We also place a test order.
What if a brand's answer changes?

The label changes with it, or the brand comes down. Tell us if you spot something wrong.
