Melody Lim started Mala in Vancouver in 2019 after a trip through Europe and a candlemaker in Milos. The candles are hand-poured in the city from coconut and soy wax with wood or cotton wicks, packaged without plastic, and a tree is planted for every full-size candle sold.

I first tried this candle in 2021 and have been hooked ever since! these candles are pricey but the quality is so much better than cheap alternatives. burn time is amazing and the scent really lingers which I love. i have repurchased this candle over 10 times and will not be stopping anytime soon. :)
