The founders grew up in Palestine and spent fifteen years in North America before deciding the everyday things they missed — plain olive-oil soap, hand-thrown ceramics — were worth importing properly. The soap is made in Nablus by traditional methods; the ceramics are made in Hebron. The company is based in London, Ontario.
