Details
What is stinging nettle?
Common nettle, also known as stinging nettle or great nettle, is a wild plant found across Canada. Its leaves, hand-harvested mainly in the Lac Saint-Jean region, are dried and then milled, and can be used in cooking or as an infusion.
Comment utiliser l'ortie ?
Use it in cooking, in soups or broths. It is a good base for building your own infusion blend, alongside other plants from our forests or your own favourite seasonings.
It is also valued in home skincare and in making mother tinctures, particularly in hair lotions for its effect on oily, brittle or dull hair, stimulating circulation in the scalp and feeding the roots.
