What is goldenrod?

Goldenrod, also called Canada solidago, is a wild plant growing in Québec's boreal fields and meadows. Valued for its brilliant flowering, these flowering tops are carefully hand-harvested in the Lac Saint-Jean region. They are gently dried to preserve their full aromatic richness, then milled to make them easier to use.

How do you use goldenrod?

As an infusion, alone or blended with other wild plants, for a light, calming tea. It can also go into compotes, jams or syrups, giving a subtle floral note.
Traditionally it is used as a decoction to ease urinary discomfort and support kidney function.
