Coconut-soy candles hand-poured in Vancouver, one tree per candle.
Melody Lim started Mala in Vancouver in 2019 after a trip through Europe and a candlemaker in Milos. The candles are hand-poured in the city from coconut and soy wax with wood or cotton wicks, packaged without plastic, and a tree is planted for every full-size candle sold.

gift for my sister - incredible
my first order from mala and i am already hooked. i got one of these lovely candles for my sister and am now very jealous of her. it has a very nice coffee smell, true to its name, and it's just strong enough where it's not too much of a smell but it also has a... smellable scent, if that makes sense. my sister loved it, as she has loved other mala candles in the past. i already have more candles ordered for myself!!

not for me
My two favorite scents in this world are coffee and MAla's rosebud candle, so I was very excited about this candle. Unfortunately, to me this candle just has a sort of generic "walked into a candle shop in the mall" scent and doesn't smell like coffee. I also think the throw when lit could be a bit stronger.
